Grains In Small Places is one of my favorite sites for freshly milled flour recipes! And we LOVE her honey oat bread recipe so much! She explains every step, in her post as well as on YouTube! I don’t want to type out the recipe here since it is not my own, I don’t make any of my own changes, and she has an active and thriving blog!
You can see below, I make double and triple batches, sometimes omitting the oats on top, sticking extra loaves in the freezer or giving away to friends, and we use it for sandwiches, french toast, and any other time we need a slice of sandwich bread! I hear my teens in the kitchen saying things like “Oh this is the recipe I can just eat plain because it’s so good!” and when I ask them which type of bread I should make, this is the one they want!
